Useful apps to promote wellbeing and manage stress

Wake Up Rosie – is a new alarm clock app designed to help everyone make happiness part of their daily routine!

The Headspace App is a guide to meditation and mindfulness, it teaches you to meditate in just a few minutes a day. The basic pack is free, then there is a monthly subscription to access more advance meditations to help with stress, anxiety, sleep, relationships and concentration for example. There is also a Headspace for Kids pack.
Stop, Breathe, Think is a great app which guides you through meditation, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. It has a range of activities to help you connect with your body, regulate or calm your breathing, sleep better or learn yoga. It also lets you track your progress and measure your moods. Basic activities are free, then there is a subscription to upgrade to the premium services. You can download it here
Smiling Mind is a free mindfulness and meditation app originally designed for young people – mindfulness can be very helpful for relaxation, learning to manage stress and boosting your mood. Pacifica uses simple relaxation and CBT techniques to help you manage stress and anxiety. It also allows you to track your moods and health habits, identify unhelpful patterns, set personal and achievable goals, and see your progress. Find out more and download for free.
