5 Ways to Wellbeing

Connect with the people around you – at home, at school or college and in your local community. Talk to friends, family or even pets. Spend time socialising! Join a local youth group or sports club. Take up a new hobby – dancing, youth theatre, a martial art.

Be Active - Web

Regular exercise makes us feel good. Find a physical activity you enjoy – anything from football to swimming to Zumba to yoga to mountain climbing. Going for a walk or run helps you to de-stress. Try anything that gets you out of your head and into your body!

Give - Web

Doing something nice for someone else boosts our self worth and our own happiness. Being there for a friend or family member, volunteering in your community or joining a campaign is rewarding and helps you to connect with others and feel part of something bigger.

Take Notice - Web
This is about being mindful – appreciating what is around you, being aware of how you feel, noticing the natural world and changing seasons … reading a book in the sunshine or going for a walk by the sea. Enjoying the moment, paying attention to friends and family, and reflecting on your experiences can help you appreciate what matters most to you.
