Mind Your Way was developed by the Your Way partnership and Speak Up Cornwall (formerly CAMHS YP Board), with the aim of providing a safe and reliable source of information and advice.
Much like the rest of the Your Way project Mind Your Way was designed by young people for young people. Including this site which was developed as a central place to find accurate information about mental health and emotional wellbeing, plus trusted and safe places to get help without having to navigate google where you could potentially come across dangerous sites and forums promoting unhelpful messages. Our content isn’t just for young people though parents, carers and professionals can still benefit from our information.
Supported by Young People Cornwall we work closely with the NHS and Cornwall Council Commissioners, service leads and other local youth projects across Cornwall.
Who we are
Our team consists of a mixed group of people who have a range of experiences. Some of us have used mental health services, some of us care for family members or friends with mental health issues, and some of us simply have an interest in mental health and improving the resources for children and young people. However our vision is the same. We want to make sure that children and young people have their voices heard in mental health services, both locally and nationally, and are able to influence real and positive change.
