Stress

There are many reasons why you might feel over-stressed, different things cause stress in different people and often stress is the build-up of lots of things rather than a single event.

Anxiety

Anxiety is the feeling of fear or panic. Like stress it can be a very physical experience, making us feel tense, shaky, dizzy, nauseous or short of breath or giving us butterflies in our stomachs, a racing heart or sweaty palms.

Depression

Most people experience ups and downs and it is normal to feel sad, lonely or stressed some of the time, particularly when we are facing challenges in our lives.

OCD

OCD is not just about keeping your bedroom super clean or arranging your vinyl collection in alphabetical order! In reality OCD refers to a serious and complex illness called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a behavioural disorder which causes people to be inattentive, impulsive and in some cases hyperactive.

Self-harm can be really hard to understand, but it’s a lot more common than people think. At least 1 in 12 young people self-harm.

Psychosis is a set of psychological symptoms which have an impact on the way a person understands their reality, such as seeing, hearing or believing things that others don’t.

Bipolar Disorder is an illness where people experience extreme changes in mood that affect the way they think and behave.

Autism Spectrum

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong, neurodevelopmental condition which affects how people see the world and interact with others. It first appears when people are very young, often from birth.
